N700A、日本車両10編成受注

日本車輌製造が、JR東海から新型車両「N700A」(N700系1000番代)10編成を受注したことを発表しました。

N700AはN700系以降の技術開発成果を採用した車両で、N700系のマイナーチェンジ車両として、当初、2012年度に6編成、2013年度に7編成の計13編成が製造・導入される予定でした。このうちの10編成を日本車輌製造が受注した模様で、2012年度に4編成、2013年度に6編成がJR東海に納入されるそうです。

なお、残る3編成の発注について、現時点では公式な発表はされていないようです。

Nippon Sharyo released that they got an order of producing new Shinkansen cars called N700A (Series N700-1000).

N700A is a tweaked type of Series N700 and initially JR Central announced six sets of them in 2012 and seven in 2013 will be put into service. Recently Nippon Sharyo said they will produce four N700A sets in 2012 and six in 2013.

As of this moment, it seems no official announcements of order to produce the left three set of N700A are available.

東京14番線で可動柵工事開始

東京駅の14番線で、ホームでの転落事故を防ぐ可動柵の設置工事が開始されます。これは、3月のダイヤ改正で東海道新幹線の車両がドア位置が同じ700系とN700系に統一され、また、従来より安価・短期間で設置可能な新型可動柵の開発に目処が立ったため。新しい可動作は、既存の固定柵に据え付ける形で設置されるそうです。新大阪駅に新設工事が進められている27番線にも同じく新型可動柵が設置され、東京駅の14番線と合わせて来年(2013年)3月に使用が開始される予定です。東京駅の他のホーム(15～19番線)にも2015年3月までに新型可動柵を順次設置していく予定で、東海道新幹線のその他の「のぞみ」停車駅にも設置計画の検討を進めていくそうです。

JR Central announced that they will start installation work of moving safety fence on Tokyo Station track No. 14 in this month. This is because cheaper and sooner installable new fence was developed and car's door locations will be standardized with Series 300's retirement in this March. The new fence will be hooked up to existing immobile fence. Shin-Osaka Station's track No. 27, which are beeing built at this moment, will have same type of new safety fence. The new fences on Tokyo's platform 14 and Shin-Osaka's platform 27 are scheduled to start operation in March, 2013. They will gradually install new fence on Tokyo Station's other Tokaido Shinkansen tracks (No. 15 - 19) by March, 2015 and are planning works at other Nozomi stop stations.

福山駅南口整備、3月末完成

中国新聞によれば、福山駅南口で進められているの駅前広場の整備事業が3月末までに完了するそうです。

南口駅前の約14,000m²の整備により、バス停やタクシー乗り場が再配置されます。すでに昨年(2011年)7月には一般車向けの地下送迎場も完成。12月末時点で全体の9割(事業費ベース)の工事が完了し、3月末に向けて、今後はバスの待機所や排水設備、照明、舗装などの整備が進められるそうです。

今回の整備に合わせ、福山市出身の芸術家野田正明氏が、駅前広場に設置する高さ6.7mのモニュメントの制作を進めているそうです。

Chugoku Shimbun reported that the improving work of Fukuyama Station's south exit square will be finished by the end of this March.

The bus stops and taxi stand will be relocated by this project for the area of 14,000m² on the south of the station. The basement public driveway apron has been already opened since the last July. By operating expense ratio, 90% of works are finished and the bus park, drainage, lighting and paving will be completed by the end of March.

In another article, they reported that Mr. NODA, Masaaki, who hails from Fukuyama, is making a 6.7-meter-high artwork for the renovated station square.

JRグループと京都市、京都市観光協会などが、冬季観光客の誘致対策として2011/12/01～2012/03/20の約4ヶ月間にわたり「京の冬の旅キャンペーン」を開催しています。恒例の「非公開文化財特別公開」、今回は大河ドラマ「平清盛」放映記念として清盛ゆかりの地と干支にちなんで「龍」に会える寺を中心に、ふだんは見学できない13ヶ所の非公開文化財が特別公開されるそうです。

このキャンペーンに合わせて、京都までの往復の新幹線と京都での鉄道・バスのフリーパスがセットになった「京都観光フリーきっぷ」が販売されています。

速報、正月帰りの予約状況

あけましておめでとうございます。ことしも当サイト「新幹線時刻表」をよろしくお願いします。

さて。年始の東海道・山陽新幹線、上りの混雑ピークは01/03(火)と予想されています。このピーク日の前後について、当サイトが独自に普通車指定席の予約状況を調査しました。予約状況は刻々と変化しますが、混雑傾向を把握する程度のご参考にどうぞ。

以下のグラフは、6～24時の各時間帯に発車する列車について、予約状況をまとめたものです。横軸が時間帯、縦軸が列車の本数で、青色は空席のある列車、黄色は空席が残りわずかな列車、赤色が満席の列車の数を示します。青色の棒が高い時間帯なら、まだ指定席に余裕がありそうです。

データは、いずれも2012/01/01午前時点のものです。最新の指定席予約状況は、JRサイバーステーション(空席案内)でご確認ください。

For this winter holidays returning, JR Central, JR West and JR Kyushu estimated that the peak of crowding will be on January 3.

The charts shown below indicate seat availability of around the peak days by this site Shinkansen Timetable's independent survey. They maybe of some help to find remained seats. On the graphs, horizontal axes mean hours of 6 to 24 of each day and vertical the number of trains. The bar of blue shows underoccupied trains, yellow near capacity and red full occupancy. So it may easy to book trains at the hours with stretching blue bar.
