おふたりの年齢を足して88歳以上になるご夫婦の旅行に便利でお得な「フルムーン夫婦グリーンパス」が、ことしも09/01から販売されます。グリーン車に乗って日本全国を旅することができるきっぷですが、東海道・山陽新幹線の「のぞみ」には乗れませんので旅行の計画を立てる際には注意が必要です。
プレスリリースには、来年(2011年)3月に予定されている九州新幹線全線開業後にきっぷの効力が「変更になる場合があります」という少し気になる記述も。この変更の詳細については明らかになり次第お伝えいたします。

- JR線以外の路線(北近畿タンゴ鉄道線、智頭急行線、JRバスなど)はご利用になれません。ただし、盛岡～八戸間を通過する寝台特急「北斗星」とJR西日本宮島フェリーは利用可能です。
- ご購入・ご利用の際は、年齢を証明できる公的証明書(健康保険証等)が必要です。
- 全国の駅レンタカーで割引があります。
- ご購入の際に渡されるアンケートに回答すると、今シーズンか来シーズン(2011年秋発売予定)の「フルムーン夫婦グリーンパス」が5,000円引割引になる割引証がもらえます。
JR groups announced that Full Moon Fufu Green Pass (フルムーン夫婦グリーンパス meaning Mature-year Couple's Green Pass) will be started to sell from September 1 again. This pass allows unlimited travel throughout Japan by green cars, but it NOT valid for Nozomi trains.
The press release said the effect of the ticket may be changed after next spring along with begining of Kyushu Shinkansen's full service.

- Remarks
- This ticket is Not valid on out of JR lines like Kitakinki Tango Railway (北近畿タンゴ鉄道), Chizu Express Line (智頭急行), JR Bus lines, etc. even though trains go directly from JR lines to those railway company lines. However, it is valid for Hokutosei sleeper trains (北斗星) getting through between Morioka and Hachinohe and JR Miyajima Ferry between Miyajimaguchi and Miyajima.
- Passengers are required to carry formal age-identifying documents at purchasing and while traveling.
- Special discount of rent-a-car at stations (駅レンタカー) is available.
- Passengers will be given a 5,000 JPY off coupon for the other one of this pass of this or next season if they respond to the questionnaire which is given at purchasing the pass.
