JR West and JR Shikoku started "Shinkansen de Lucky Campaign" (新幹線DEおトク キャンペーン) to promote Shinkansen travels to Tokyo and Yokohama from Okayama, Hiroshima, Yamaguchi, and Takamatsu area.

Within the period of July 17 through October 12, purchasers of targeted travel packages will receive an application postcard. To join the campaign, it is required to fill out the form and drop it into a post box. 216 winners selected in a drawing will receive wonderful prizes.

JR Tokai Passengers released "Plummy Octopus Rice" (うめ～たこめし) and "Baked Miso Pork Box" (豚みそ焼き弁当) on June 11 as limited-time products for this summer. And "Hyogo Local Foods Box" (兵庫ふるさと地産弁当) had been started to sell on June 13 at Shin-Kobe Station by Awajiya.

Plummy Octopus Rice (うめ～たこめし)

"Plummy Octopus Rice" contains refreshing plum rice and seasonal octopus rice. It includes many ummer-time foods like bluely boiled eggplant and fried fish cake containing green soybeans. A green maple leaf-shaped wet gluten evokes brisk summer days. It is available in Tokaido Shinkansen trains and stations of Tokyo, Shinagawa, Shin-Yokohama, Kyoto, and Shin-Osaka for 850 JPY.

Baked Miso Pork Box (豚みそ焼き弁当)

"Baked Miso Pork Box" contains heavy baked miso pork for gaining strength in hot summer days. To make the pork rich tasted, the marinated meat in Sendai Miso was cooked slowly and basted. Of course non-fatty foods like sweet rolled egg and sliced ginger are inside. Available in Tokaido Shinkansen trains and stations of Tokyo, Shinagawa, Shin-Yokohama, Kyoto, and Shin-Osaka for 900 JPY.

Hyogo Local Foods Box (兵庫ふるさと地産弁当)

"Hyogo Local Foods Box" is a box of sticking to Hyogo local foods like black beans from Tamba, boiled octopus from Akashi, and roasted sand eel from Awaji. Of course vegetables are grown in Hyogo Pref and moreover, roasted laver are from Harima. Enjoy Hyogo foods with great gusto! Available at Shin-Kobe station for 900 JPY.
