GWの広島駅にキッズスペース設置

04/25(土)から05/06(祝・水)の12日間、広島駅2Fの新幹線コンコース内に「キッズ・スペース」が設置されます。期間中は毎日朝9時から夕方19時まで、小学生以下のお子さまを対象に無料に開放されます。ゴールデンウィークでご家族でのご旅行が多くなるこの時期、新幹線を待つ時間を飽きさせずに過ごすことができる、嬉しいサービスです。

JR West announced that a "kids space" will be placed in the Shinkansen concourse of Hiroshima Station during the period of Golden Week from April 25 to May 06. It is for elementary school children and under from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily within that period at no fee. Children may be able to escape boredom there until the departure time!

GWの指定席予約状況(04/16時点)

JR各社が、ゴールデンウィーク期間(04/24～05/06)の04/16時点での指定席予約状況を発表しました。

JR東海の発表によれば、東海道・山陽新幹線のゴールデンウィーク期間中の予約可能席数は、前年比107%の405万席。そのうち、すでに予約された席数は112万席で、予約率は27.7%です。同じく、JR西日本によれば山陽新幹線の予約可能席数は前年比105%の219万席で、予約席が57万席(予約率26.0%)。ピーク予想は、下りが05/02(土)、上りが05/05(火)・06(水)とのこと。ピーク日の一部の列車の指定席券が完売しつつある状況ながら、その他の列車の座席にはまだ余裕がありそうです。

なお、JR東海では東京～新大阪間で05/03(日)、05(火)、06(水)の3日間に臨時「のぞみ」を計6本(下り2本、上り4本)、追加で運転することを発表しました。指定席券の発売は04/18からとのこと。当サイト「新幹線時刻表」では、これらの列車も含め列車時刻等をご案内しております。追加運転される臨時「のぞみ」は下記の通りです。

JR companies announced the availability of reserved seats on Shinkansen trains during the period of Golden Week from April 24 to May 06, as of April 16.

According to JR Central, 1,120,000 of available 4,050,000 seats on Tokaido and Sanyo Shinkansen trains have been reserved already. And JR West said 570,000 of 2,190,000 seats on Sanyo Shinkansen trains have been reserved. In shortly, about 27% of available seats are now occupied and 73% still remain vacant. And they said the peak of crowding will be on May 02 for westbound trains and on May 05 and 06 for eastbound.

At the same time, JR Central released additional 6 Nozomi services between Tokyo and Shin-Osaka running on May 03, 05 and 06. The seat reservation on these trains has been available since April 18. Of course this site Shinkansen Timetable provide travel plans to you including these additional trains. The 6 trains are shown below.

3月の新作駅弁

3月、岡山駅では岡山市の政令指定都市移行を記念したお弁当が発売されました。また、東京、品川、新横浜、名古屋、京都、新大阪の各駅で2種類の駅弁が新たに発売されました。暖かな春の旅のお供に、新しいお弁当をどうぞ。

「おかやま弁当」(1,000円＠岡山駅)は、「東区の桃太郎トマトを使った鶏肉のトマトチーズ焼き」など市内各区の特産品が詰まったお弁当。岡山市の政令指定都市移行を記念した03/20からの期間限定販売です。
「チキン弁当」(850円＠東京、品川、新横浜、名古屋、京都、新大阪駅)は、国産鶏を使用した手頃な価格のお弁当。唐揚げは、カレー味と生姜味の２つの味をお楽しみいただけます。
「中華弁当」(900円＠東京、品川、新横浜、名古屋、京都、新大阪駅)は、一般に鉄分が多いと言われているレバーやカシューナッツ、帆立などの食材を、素材の味を活かして美味しく盛り込んだお弁当です。

そのほか、「歌舞伎」(1,100円＠東京、品川、新横浜駅)、「やさいたっぷり幕の内」(1,000円＠東京、品川、新横浜、名古屋、京都、新大阪の各駅)、「幕之内弁当東海道」(850円＠東京、品川、新横浜、名古屋、京都、新大阪駅)、「大阪味々幕の内」(1,100円＠京都、新大阪駅)、「美味彩り幕の内」(1,000円＠京都、新大阪駅)のお弁当がリニュアルしているそうです。

In this March, new Ekiben was released at Okayama station celebrating the transition to a government-designated city of Okayama. At major stations along Tokaido Shinkansen, 2 new Ekibens were also released.

Okayama Bento (おかやま弁当 meaning Okayama Box, @1,000 JPY at Okayama station) contains various specialties of Okayama city, like baked chicken with tomato cheese using Momotaro tomato from East ward. It is available for a limited time from March 20, 2009, because it is celebrating Okayama city being a government-designated city.
Chicken Bento (チキン弁当 meaning Chicken Box, @850 JPY at Tokyo, Shinagawa, Shin-Yokohama, Nagoya, and Shin-Osaka stations) is a cheap but tasty lunch box with homebred chicken. Both curry and ginger flavored fried chicken are in a box.
Chinese Bento (中華弁当 meaning Chinese Box, @900 JPY at Tokyo, Shinagawa, Shin-Yokohama, Nagoya, and Shin-Osaka stations) is including Chinese-inspired side dishes. Especially foods said to contain a lot of iron like liver, cashew nut, and scallops are teem in the box.
