10月恒例、JR西日本の博多総合車両所の一般公開イベント「新幹線ふれあいデー」が今年(2011年)も開催されます。「新幹線を通じて、高速鉄道の安全性、快適性、利便性や環境への優しさなどを実感し、鉄道に親しんでいただく」ためのイベントです。ことしの運転台見学はN700系と700系車両。当日はドクターイエローも展示されるそうです。

The Shinkansen's railcar shop in Hakata will be opened to the public on 16 October. This is a promotion of safeness, snugness, convenience and echo-friendliness of high-speed railway system. JR West announced that visiting-cockpit for this year will be in Series N700 and 700, and "Doctor Yellow" will be displayed.
