秋(2011/10/01～11/30)の臨時列車の運行予定が発表されました。
ご利用が集中する期間・時間帯に指定席が取りやすくなるよう、引き続ききめ細かく臨時列車が運転されます。また、快適性・省エネルギー性に優れたN700系車両を使った定期「のぞみ」は4本が追加となり、11月末時点では1日あたり163本、東海道新幹線の定期「のぞみ」の98%がN700系で運転される計算になるそうです。
下り：N700系車両が投入される「のぞみ」
- のぞみ241 (700系、10/02からN700系) 東京16:40→新大阪19:16
- のぞみ251 (700系、10/01からN700系) 東京18:20→新大阪20:56
上り：N700系車両が投入される「のぞみ」
- のぞみ226 (700系、10/01からN700系) 新大阪10:47→東京13:23
- のぞみ238 (700系、10/02からN700系) 新大阪15:27→東京18:03
JR Central, JR West and JR Kyushu released the train schedule for this autumn from October 1, 2011 through November 30.
According to them, many extra trains will run during busy days and hours. Additionally more Series N700, most comfortable and energy saving vehicles on Tokaido and Sanyo Shinkansen, will go into the service and 163 of regular Nozomi trains by Series N700 will run a day at the end of November. This means 98% of regular Nozomi service on Tokaido Shinkansen will be provided as that of N700 vehicles.

- Nozomi 241, changed from Series 700 to Series N700 on October 02 (Tokyo 16:40 → Shin-Osaka 19:16)
- Nozomi 251, changed from Series 700 to Series N700 on October 01 (Tokyo 18:20 → Shin-Osaka 20:56)
Eastbound Nozomi Trains newly using Series N700
- Nozomi 226, changed from Series 700 to Series N700 on October 01 (Shin-Osaka 10:47 → Tokyo 13:23)
- Nozomi 238, changed from Series 700 to Series N700 on October 02 (Shin-Osaka 15:27 → Tokyo 18:03)
