東海道定期のぞみ98％がN700

秋(2011/10/01～11/30)の臨時列車の運行予定が発表されました。

ご利用が集中する期間・時間帯に指定席が取りやすくなるよう、引き続ききめ細かく臨時列車が運転されます。また、快適性・省エネルギー性に優れたN700系車両を使った定期「のぞみ」は4本が追加となり、11月末時点では1日あたり163本、東海道新幹線の定期「のぞみ」の98%がN700系で運転される計算になるそうです。

下り：N700系車両が投入される「のぞみ」

JR Central, JR West and JR Kyushu released the train schedule for this autumn from October 1, 2011 through November 30.

According to them, many extra trains will run during busy days and hours. Additionally more Series N700, most comfortable and energy saving vehicles on Tokaido and Sanyo Shinkansen, will go into the service and 163 of regular Nozomi trains by Series N700 will run a day at the end of November. This means 98% of regular Nozomi service on Tokaido Shinkansen will be provided as that of N700 vehicles.

EX-IC早特、10～12月も販売

3日前までの予約でお得に新幹線が利用できるEX-IC早特(IC早特)について、これまでと同一の設定区間・価格で12/31分まで販売が継続されることが発表されました。

「EX-IC早特(IC早特)」の概要

商品の名称：「EX-IC早特(IC早特)」
利用期間：2011/12/31(土)ご乗車分まで
販売期間：ご乗車日1ヶ月前の10:00から3日前の23:30まで
きっぷの効力：出発駅から到着駅まで、東海道・山陽新幹線を片道利用できます。
設定区間：
1. 東海道・山陽新幹線をまたがって利用する長距離タイプ(東京・品川～岡山・広島・小倉・博多間、静岡～広島・小倉・博多間、京都・新大阪・新神戸～小倉・博多間など)
2. 東海道新幹線(新神戸を含む)の乗車駅を朝6時台に発車する「のぞみ」と終日の「ひかり」に乗車可能なタイプ(東京・品川・新横浜～名古屋・京都・新大阪・新神戸間)
3. 東海道新幹線各駅相互間(100km以内と東京～熱海間を除く)の「こだま」グリーン車限定タイプ(東京・品川～静岡・名古屋・京都・新大阪間など)

- 設定区間(1)の京都・新大阪・新神戸～小倉・博多間、および、設定区間(2)、(3)は直通列車のみ利用可能(乗り継ぎ不可)。
- EX-ICカードでの改札入場またはIC乗車票の受け取り前で、指定列車の発車時刻前であれば、日付や列車の変更が可能です。
- この料金で販売される座席は、列車ごとに数が限定されています。ご希望の列車に空席があっても、予約できない場合があります。

JR Central and JR West announced that EX-IC Hayatoku (EX-IC早特), the discount offer for early purchasing EX-IC members, will be good until December 31, 2011. Its available sectors and prices are the same as going.

Overview of EX-IC Hayatoku

Name of the deal: EX-IC Hayatoku (EX-IC早特 meaning EX-IC Early Booking Discount, shortly called "IC Hayatoku")
Travel dates: until December 31, 2011
Period of selling: from 10:00 of a month before up to 23:30 of three days prior to the travel date
Tickets are availabe from 10:00 on the day of a month to 23:30 of three days before departure.
Effects of the ticket: This deals allows one-way travel on Tokaido and Sanyo Shinkansen.
Available sectors:
1. for long-distance travel striding over Tokaido and Sanyo Shinkansen; from/to Tokyo and Shinagawa to/from Okayama, Hiroshima, Kokura and Hakata, from/to Shizuoka to/from Hiroshima, Kokura and Hakata, from/to Kyoto, Shin-Osaka and Shin-Kobe to/from Kokura and Hakata, etc.
2. for travel by Nozomi trains on Tokaido Shinkansen (including Shin-Kobe) departing by 6:59 or all Hikari trains; from/to Tokyo, Shinagawa and Shin-Yokohama to/from Nagoya, Kyoto, Shin-Osaka and Shin-Kobe, etc.
3. for travel by Kodama train's Green Car between stations on Tokaido Shinkansen separated at least 100 km and excluding from/to Tokyo to/from Atami; from/to Tokyo and Shinagawa to/from Shizuoka, Nagoya, Kyoto and Shin-Osaka, etc.

新しい待合室オープン、東京

07/22、東京駅の中央コンコース内の中2階に設置された新しい待合室がオープンしました。新しい待合室は125m2の広さに50席(うちモバイルコーナー6席)を設けたもので、東京駅コンコースの待合室は、これにより3箇所(合計380m2、132席)となります。この新しい待合室でも、南口コンコースにある既存の待合室2ヶ所同様、無線LANサービスが提供されています。もちろん、この季節には嬉しい空調完備。

また、来年(2012年)には八重洲南口改札がオープンし、東海道新幹線の八重洲側改札口が4ヶ所から5ヶ所になるそうです。

JR Central has opened new waiting room within the Tokyo Station's Central Concource since July 22, 2011. This new air-conditioned waiting room has 50 seats, including six for PC users, in its area of 125 m2. This is the third room in the concource of Tokyo Station and the rooms totally have 132 seats in 380 m2. In all these three waiting rooms, the WiFi service is available.

In the next year, another ticket gate will be openen in the south of Yayesu area. This will be the fifth gate of Tokaido Shinkansen's gates in Yayesu side of Tokyo Station.

この夏の東海道・山陽・九州新幹線の混雑について、上りのピークが08/16(火)と予想されています。このピーク日の前後について、「新幹線時刻表」は独自に普通車指定席の予約状況を調査しました。予約状況は刻々と変化しますが、混雑傾向を把握する程度のご参考にどうぞ。

以下のグラフは、6～24時の各時間帯に発車する列車について、予約状況をまとめたものです。横軸が時間帯、縦軸が列車の本数で、青色は空席のある列車、黄色は空席が残りわずかな列車、赤色が満席の列車を示します。青色の棒が高い時間帯なら、まだ指定席に余裕がありそうです。

データは、いずれも2011/08/14午後時点のものです。最新の指定席予約状況は、JRサイバーステーション(空席案内)でご確認ください。

The charts shown below indicate seat availability of around the peak days by this site Shinkansen Timetable's independent survey. They maybe of some help to find remained seats. On the graphs, horizontal axes mean hours of 6 to 24 of each day and vertical the number of trains. The bar of blue shows underoccupied trains, yellow near capacity and red full occupancy. So it may easy to book trains at the hours with stretching blue bar.

The survey was performed at the afternoon of August 14, 2011. Visit the site of JR Cyber Station and get up-to-the-minute details.

ビックリつばめ、延長販売中

「ビックリつばめ2枚切符」の販売期間が、2011/09/29までに延長されています。このきっぷは、九州新幹線の熊本～博多間の「つばめ」指定席のきっぷ2枚と博多駅の商業施設「アミュプラザ博多」で使えるショッピングチケット(引換券)をセットにしたもの。1セットあたり5,500円、アミュプラザのショッピングチケットが1,500円分なので、熊本～博多間の片道が2,000円という計算。熊本～博多間は運賃と通常期の指定席特急料金を合わせると4,990円ですから、約60%オフになっている計算です。お盆の時期でも販売時に「つばめ」の指定席さえ確保できれば発券・利用が可能だそうです。

また、08/31までは九州新幹線で「ポケモン」のラッピングが施された車両が運転されます。ラッピング車両は、9編成ある800系車両(6両編成)のうちの1編成。どの列車がラッピング・トレインで走るのかは、JR九州のページに案内がありますので、ご参照ください。

きっぷの効力：熊本～博多間を九州新幹線「つばめ」の普通車指定席で往復できます。アミュプラザ博多で使えるショッピングチケット(引換券、1,500円分)がセットになっています。
設定区間：上熊本・水前寺～熊本 ⇔ 博多
価格：おとな5,500円(こども3,300円)
販売箇所：JR九州の駅のみどりの窓口、JR九州旅行支店、旅行会社
備考：
- ご購入の際に、往復の列車と座席が確定します。
- 「みずほ」「さくら」は利用できません。
- ショッピングチケットの有効期限は10月末日です。

JR Kyushu said Bikkuri Tsubame 2-mai Kippu (ビックリつばめ2枚切符) will be good until September 30, 2011. This ticket includes roundtrip ticket between Kumamoto and Hakata by Tsubame trains and shopping coupons for Amu Plaza Hakata. The price of JPY 5,500, including JPY 1,500 coupons, means the single Shinkansen trip between Kumamoto and Hakata costs only JPY 2,000. That's saving around 60% against the usual ticket price for this section, JPY 4,990. Even while the summer holidays, this ticket is available if seats on Tsubame train's can only be reserved.

And on Kyushu Shinkansen, the special wrapping trains of Pokemon run through August 31, 2011. The wrapping-car is one of nine Series 800 set. The wrapping train's service schedules are available on JR Kyushu's website.

Effects of the ticket: This ticket allows a roundtrip by Tsubame train's assigned seats between Kumamoto and Hakata. JPY 1,500 shopping coupons are included.
Available sectors: Kami-Kumamoto or stations between Suizenji and Kumamoto - Hakata
Prices: JPY 5,500 for an adult, JPY 3,300 for a child
Purchasable at: a ticketing counter in JR Kyushu's station, a JR Kyushu's travel branche and a major travel vendor
Remarks:
- The trains and seats of both-way must be assigned at the time of purchase.
- This ticket is not good for Mizuho and Sakura trains.
- Shopping coupons are good until October 31, 2011.

この夏の東海道・山陽・九州新幹線の混雑について、ピークは下りが08/12(金)、上りが08/16(火)と予想されています。このピーク日の前後について、「新幹線時刻表」は独自に普通車指定席の予約状況を調査しました。予約状況は刻々と変化しますが、混雑傾向を把握する程度のご参考にどうぞ。
