「500系こだま」で制帽や絵本の貸出を実施

500系こだま(8両編成)の8号車には「お子様向け運転台」が設置され、お子さま連れでの旅行に対するPRがなされています。夏休み期間中の土休日とお盆期間には一部の500系こだまの8号車で、さらに、写真撮影用の制帽の貸し出しや絵本の貸し出しが行われているそうです。

当該列車の8号車は自由席です。静かに新幹線の旅を楽しみたい方は、他の車両を利用するのがよいかもしれません。8両編成の500系こだまは、6号車を除くすべての車両が自由席です。

制帽や絵本の貸出の概要

実施期間： 2010/07/17(土)～08/29(日)の土休日と08/11(水)～08/18(水)の毎日
対象列車・区間：
- こだま737 新大阪 07:29 → 広島 10:32
- こだま744 広島 13:29 → 新大阪 16:05
- こだま757 新大阪 16:38 → 岡山 18:01
備考：当日の運転状況(車両の変更や大幅なダイヤの乱れ)などにより、サービスを取りやめることがあります。

To promote traveling by Kodama for family travelers, JR West installed kid's cockpits in eight cars 500 series Kodama trains. Moreover, they are providing additional service of trying on a staff's cap for picture and borrow illustrated books in car 8 of 500 series Kodama between this summer.

The car 8 of those Kodama trains are free seating. Passengers, wanting to travel by quiet cabin, will be recommended taking their seats out of car 8. In those trains, all cars except car 6 are free seating.

Overview of trying on a staff's cap and bollow picture books

Travel dates: Sat. Sun. and holidays between July 17, 2010 through August 29, and everyday from August 11 through 18
Trains and sectors:
- Kodama 737, from Shin-Osaka (07:29) to Hiroshima (10:32)
- Kodama 744, from Hiroshima (13:29) to SHin-Osaka (16:05)
- Kodama 757, from Shin-Osaka (16:38) to Okayama (18:01)
Remarks:This service is subject to suspend due to the traffic conditions like vehicle change and being heavily inconvenienced.
