東海道・山陽新幹線のゴールデンウィーク(2010/04/28～05/05)の指定席予約状況が発表されました。2010/04/15時点で、予約可能な座席数に対する予約率は30%程度で、ごく一部の列車がほぼ満席となっている他はまだ十分な空きがある状況です。ピーク予想日は、東海道・山陽新幹線ともに下りが05/01(土)、上りが05/05(水)だそうです。

JR Central and JR West reported the availability of bookable seats on Shinkansen trains during the Golden Week holidays from April 28, 2010 through May 5. As of April 15, 2010, about 30% of bookable seats were occupied and enough seats were still available except only a fraction of trains. They said that the estimated peak date would be May 1 for westbound trains and May 5 for eastbound.
