2009/03/14～06/30の期間限定で設定された「こだま指定席往復きっぷ」の延長販売が決定し、10/31(土)まで使えることとなりました。
「こだま指定席往復きっぷ」は、山陽新幹線内設定区間の往復で「こだま」と一部の「ひかり」に乗車できるきっぷです。きっぷの価格(大人料金)は利用区間ごとに変わり、通常期の料金と比較すると最大でおよそ44.5%オフ。夏休みはもちろん、繁忙期のお盆や9月の5連休もその他の期間と同じ料金で利用できます。こども料金は区間によらず一律3,000円で設定されているため、ご家族での旅行で特にお得になるきっぷです。有効期限が2日間なので、「ちょっと一泊」のプチ旅行にはいいかもしれません。

JR West is providing Round Trip Ticket for Reservation Seats on Kodama Trains (こだま指定席往復きっぷ) for travel until June 30, 2009. And they released that they will extend its travel dates for 4 months.
This ticket provides saving round trip by Kodama and Hikari trains within certain sections on Sanyo Shinkansen. The adult fare, saving up to 44.5% off the usual, depends on the leg. The figure does not depends on the traveling date, even if it is in summer vacation, Bon period, or special five-day weekend in September. Because the fare for a child is flat of 3,000 JPY, this pass seems to be nice for family holidays. Especially good for overnight jaunt because the ticket is valid for 2 days.
