08/29(土)にEX-ICサービスが新大阪以西(山陽新幹線)へ拡大されるのに合わせて、ご乗車の3日前までの予約で大変お得な「EX-IC早特」が新発売されます。これは、現在エクスプレス予約で提供されている「エクスプレス早特」をリニュアルしたもので、さらに、「エクスプレス早特」よりも広い範囲で「EX-IC早特」が利用できるようになります。
「EX-IC早特」の発売開始にあたり、現在の「エクスプレス早特」は08/28 23:30(09/28乗車分まで)で販売を終了するそうです。
「EX-IC早特」のポイント
- 出発駅から到着駅まで1本の列車で行ける場合にご購入いただけます。(途中駅での乗り継ぎはできません。)
- ご乗車の3日前の23:30までご購入いただけます。
- EX-IC早特で販売される座席は、列車ごとに数が限定されています。ご希望の列車に空席があっても、EX-IC早特で予約できない場合があります。
- 東海道新幹線と山陽新幹線をまたぐ区間で「のぞみ」「ひかり」の普通車指定席とグリーン車が利用できます。
- 東京・品川・新横浜⇔名古屋・京都・新大阪・新神戸の各区間のみ、利用できる「のぞみ」が朝6時台発のものに制限されます。(この区間でも、「ひかり」は終日利用可能。)
- 東京～熱海間を除く東海道新幹線の100km以上の区間では、グリーン車用限定で「こだま」用の料金も設定されています。
- 新大阪・新神戸⇔小倉・博多の各区間では、「こだま」の普通車指定席とグリーン車もご利用いただけます。
JR Central and West announced that EX-IC Early Booking Discount (EX-IC早特) will be launched on August 29, 2009, with the expansion of EX-IC Service to Sanyo Shinkansen. This discount ticketing program is the subsequence of Express Early Booking Discount (エクスプレス早特) and will be valid within wider range than before.
With the launch of EX-IC Early Booking Discount, today's Express Early Booking Discount will end at 23:30 on August 28, 2009 (valid to travel on September 28).
Brief Overview of EX-IC Early Booking Discount
- available for trips with a train (not available for travels with changing trains)
- purchasable by 23:30 on 3 days prior to the travel dates
- assigned limited number of seats for the discount on each train
- good for second class reservation seats or green cars in Nozomi or Hikari trains within the legs straddle both Tokaido and Sanyo Shinkansen
- exceptionally good only for Nozomi trains departing by 6:59 in the morning within the legs between Tokyo, Shinagawa, or Shin-Yokohama and Nagoya, Kyoto, Shin-Osaka, or Shin-Kobe (and good for all day Hikari trains within these legs)
- discounts for green cars in Kodama trains are available within the legs more than 100 km of Tokaido Shinkansen except between Tokyo and Atami
- also good for second class reservation seats or green cars in Kodama trains within the legs between Shin-Osaka or Shin-Kobe and Kokura or Hakata
