03/29(日)早朝から午前7時までの間、システムメンテナンスのためJR西日本のICOCAエリアでICカードの一部サービスがご利用いただけなくなります。当日は窓口等の混雑も予想されており、事前の購入・受取がオススメだそうです。当日、朝早くの時間帯でご旅行の予定がある方は、ご注意ください。
ご利用いただけないサービスは次のとおり。
- ICOCA・ICOCA定期券の販売と払い戻し
- カード障害または紛失に伴う再発行登録と再発行
- SMART ICOCAを利用したクイックチャージとポイントチャージ
- ICカード(ICOCA、PiTaPa、Suica、TOICA)でご乗車後、改札内「みどりの券売機」での新幹線きっぷの購入や受取
なお、ICカードでの乗車やお買い物、現金でのチャージは通常どおりご利用いただけます。
JR West announced that some IC card service would be temporarily halted due to the system maintenance from early morning to 7 a.m. on March 29, 2009. They advised passengers who would travel on that day to purchase and receive their tickets in advance because ticketing counters might be crowded.
Halted services are shown below.
- buying or refunding ICOCA or ICOCA commutation tickets
- reissuing or registering for reissuing ICOCA cards due to malfunction or loss of the cards
- "Quick Charge" and "Point Charge" service with SMART ICOCA
- buying or receiving Shinkansen tickets by Green Ticket Vending Machines (みどりの券売機) after getting on trains with IC cards, like ICOCA, PiTaPa, Suica, or TOICA
It is, however, available that traveling or shopping with IC cards and recharging IC cards in cash during the maintenance hours as usual.
