空港には航空会社の上級会員向けラウンジがあるのに、駅にはないよね。と思っていたら、デキちゃいました。デキちゃうそうです。対東京で新幹線と飛行機が熾烈なシェア争いを繰り広げる土地柄か、広島駅に会員専用ラウンジがオープンするとのこと。
これまで「ジパング倶楽部」会員向けの「ジパングサロン」だった広島駅新幹線口1階のスペースが、11/10からは「ジパング倶楽部」会員と「首都圏行けば行くほどキャンペーン」参加企業の方を対象とした「ビジネス会員・ジパング・専用ラウンジ」としてリニュアル・オープンするそうです。
ちなみに、「首都圏行けば行くほどキャンペーン」は2008/11/10～2009/02/28の期間限定キャンペーンのようです。気が早いかもしれませんが、リニュアル・オープンするラウンジのスペース、来年3月以降はどうなるのでしょう？

The room, which has been used as Zipangu Salon (ジパングサロン) for the members of Zipangu Club (ジパング倶楽部) in the past, will be renovated and opened as the Dedicated Lounge for Business members and Zipangu Club members (ビジネス会員・ジパング・専用ラウンジ) since 10 November. The new lounge is for Zipangu Club members and authorized persons of Metropolitan District Campaign Ikeba-Ikuhodo (首都圏行けば行くほどキャンペーン) participating companies.
