2011年春、TOICA、ICOCAとSUGOCAの相互利用サービス開始

JR東海のICカード「TOICA」とJR西日本のICカード「ICOCA」が2011年春からJR九州の「SUGOCA」と相互利用サービスを開始することが発表されました。この相互利用サービスにより、TOICAやICOCAをお持ちの方は九州地方のSUGOCAエリアで在来線の電車に乗ったりコンビニなどでのお買い物ができるようになります。同様に、SUGOCAをお持ちの方も、東海地方のTOICAエリアや近畿・中国地方のICOCAエリアで在来線の電車に乗ったりお買い物ができるようになります。博多駅と小倉駅の新幹線乗換改札口でも、EX-ICサービスや新幹線の紙のきっぷとTOICA、ICOCA、SUGOCAいずれかのIC乗車券との組み合わせで自動改札を通ることができるようになるそうです。

なお、JR東日本の「Suica」は、今年(2010年)03/13から、すでにSUGOCAとの相互利用サービスを開始しています。2011年春以降は、Suica、TOICA、ICOCA、SUGOCAの4枚が相互利用できるようになり、出張や旅行の際の滞在先での移動やお買い物がますます便利になりそうです。

JR Central, JR West and JR Kyushu announced that their IC cards of TOICA, ICOCA and SUGOCA will will be accepted in each other's IC card areas from the spring of 2011. The specific date is not released at this time, but from the day, TOICA holders and ICOCA holders can get on the trains and enjoy shopping in SUGOCA area in Kyushu with their IC cards. Likewise, SUGOCA holders can do so in TOICA area of Tokai and SUGOCA area of Kinki and Chugoku. Of course, automatic ticket checker at transfer gates in Hakata and Kokura Stations will accepts combination of EX-IC service or paper tickets, and IC card of TOICA, ICOCA or SUGOCA.

Suica cards of JR East have already been interoperable with SUGOCA since March 13, 2010. From the spring of 2011, four IC cards of Suica, TOICA, ICOCA and SUGOCA can be used in other cards area and help travelers when they use local transportations and buy something at their destinations.

TOICA電子マネー、3月スタート

2010/03/13のダイヤ改正にあわせて、JR東海のICカード「TOICA」の電子マネーサービスが開始されます。

TOICA電子マネー開始時に利用できるのは、JR東海エリアの駅売店等250店舗と飲料自動販売機335箇所の他、Suica、ICOCA加盟店約6万8000店。また、Suica、ICOCAの電子マネーサービスとの相互利用も開始されるため、SuicaやICOCAを持つ人もTOICAエリアで電子マネーを使ったお買い物ができるようになります。なお、駅売店等店舗での利用は03/13から、飲料自動販売機での利用は03/13～15の期間で順次利用開始となるそうです。

TOICA電子マネーが利用できる店舗等は、TOICAエリアのエキナカ＆マチナカで今後拡大する予定だそうです。

TOICA電子マネーが利用できる主な店舗等
  • ICOCAエリアの店舗：250店舗
    • 東京、品川、新横浜、浜松、豊橋、新大阪駅のホームや改札内のキヨスク、ベルマート(コンビニ)、弁当売店
    • 名古屋駅のホームや改札内のキヨスク、ベルマート(コンビニ)、弁当売店、コンコースに面した飲料、物販店舗と駅周辺の一部店舗
    • 静岡、京都駅のホームや改札内のキヨスク、ベルマート(コンビニ)、弁当売店、ASTY内の店舗
  • ICOCAエリアの飲料自動販売機：335箇所
    • 東京、品川、新横浜、静岡、浜松、名古屋、京都、新大阪駅のホーム上、改札内およびコンコースに面した飲料自動販売機(一部を除く)

JR Central announced they will release electronic money function on TOICA, the IC rail pass card issued by them, on March 13, 2010.

On the day of service starting, TOICA electronic money will be acceptable at 250 kiosks and Bellmarts, and 335 drink vending machines in stations of JR Central area. In addition, about 68,000 member stores of Suica and ICOCA will also accept TOICA. On the same day, TOICA, Suica and ICOCA electronic moneys will start to be available in each other's service area. The service start date is March 13 for kiosks and stands, and sequentially from March 13 through 15 for vending machines.

They said the number of TOICA electronic money member stores will grow in and out of stations in the TOICA area in the years ahead.

  • 250 shops in ICOCA area
    • kiosks and Bellmarts on platforms and concourse of Tokyo, Shinagawa, Shin-Yokohama, Hamamatsu, Toyohashi and Shin-Osaka Station
    • kiosks and Bellmarts on platforms and concourse of Nagoya Station and some stores inside and outside the station
    • kiosks and Bellmarts on platforms and concourse, and stores in ASTY of Shizuoka and Kyoto Station
  • 335 coin machines in ICOCA area
    • vending machines on platforms and concourse of Tokyo, Shinagawa, Shin-Yokohama, Shizuoka, Hamamatsu, Nagoya, Kyoto and Shin-Osaka Station
